Last december, was the very attended global forum Design Miami where the most influential collectors, gallerists, designers, curators from everywhere came to celebrate the Design culture. One of the most remarkable installations was the Patrick Parrish Gallery « Surfaces on which your Setting and Sitting will be uncertain » about the very trendy Grid theme. Parrish reunited several Designers and Manufacturers to realise this gridded claustrophobic visual experice. He featured the work furniture of Minneapolis based studio RO/LU, and he also collaborated with the New York Designers Various Projects who designed the clothes, the rug and the wallpaper to complete this amazing installation. The manufacturer of the wallpaper was Wallpaper Projects and the rug was made by Mitchell Denburg.

The lay out was clearly a reference to the Italian Designers Superstudio who designed a series of tables in 1970 and also to one of the most significative Designers of the XXthe century, the Italian Ettore Sottsas and of course, the Memphis movement.
